We are also in the process of applying for and obtaining TUV (Germany) approval so that our brake line kits comply with every requirement worldwide and as part of the TUV approval we are looking to obtain the GS mark of quality - the first time a brake line manufacturer will have obtained this additional quality assurance standard. Most brake line manufacturers can pass 90% of the FMVSS-106 / SAE J1401 testing procedures without problem but the real problems come in the 'whip lash test' - a test procedure which holds the hose tight at one end whilst rotating the other end of the hose at for a minimum of 35 hours. We can also offer full traceability certification with any hose / batch of hose assemblies and can also offer a range of labeling and marking services with hoses. We can offer a simple 'non removable' label applied to the outside of the hose, electro engraving of information or design special tooling which will allow markation to be added to the hose during manufacture - HEL Performance can offer your company a complete track and trace facility for your hose assemblies.
We have the in-house facility to test any hose assembly to 25,000 psi using any medium of your choice due to our 'quick change over' test rig. Brake fluid is the normal choice in any DOT standard (3, 4, 5 or 5.1) but water, flushing solution (which cleans and tests at the same time) or a medium of your choice is possible. We offer a full service of different packaging options which include bagging, blister packing with custom full colour insert, boxing of batches - contact us with your requirements. With our in-house design facilities we can layout the insert, send to your for approval and then have them printed for you by an external source - a professional and quality look for your kits.
